{Work in progress: Living room redesign}

I used Sherwin Williams Color Snap app to pick the colors for our living room redesign. I started with the beautiful fabric for the curtains. I took a photo of the fabric and it pulled the exact colors for the frames and the dresser. Dresser is Cut the Mustard by SW and frames are Saguaro by SW. I’m still working on the coffee table that will be Sheraton Sage. I’ve also been using the Sherwin Williams browser app that pulls coordinating colors called ChipIt! Super cool stuff that helps you visualize redesign projects.

This dresser took me a while to figure out what color it wanted to be. I toyed with teal and yellow, but for some reason it had a slightly Asian influence to me. I went with a bolder red color. I love the way it turned out. It could be a really cool accent piece in a black and white room or you could build your color scheme around it. It has four lined drawers with awesome handles on it are really unique. Light green waverly pattern inside each drawer.

{For Sale: Offbeat Green Vintage Record Player Radio Cabinet} $70

Amazing find! This piece is so cool! The structure is as sound as can be. Power works to the record player as well as to the radio. It has a built in speaker. It will need a tun up however. As you can tell it is very old, but it has a great sound to it. The dial to work the radio is not functioning, but you can hear a station static. The record player works too, but will need possibly just some wiring fixed in it to allow the sound to come through the speaker. Amazing piece that’s been redesigned in Sherwin Williams Offbeat Green. Refinished interior record shelves with beautiful floral fabric for an added surprise when you open the cabinet.

Aquaduct Television cabinet redesign $70 SOLD

Virginia bought an unfinished television cabinet from me after the Leisure yellow buffet/record cabinet sold quickly. So, she got to select the exact color she wanted and we went back and forth a bit between more of a blue hue or green hue. I LOVE the choice we made. It is so soft and will look great in her neutrally colored living room. This was my first time refinishing the interior of a piece and I have to admit it was tough. Lots of intricate corners. Loved the Sherwin Williams ProChoice paint I used and it was perfect after two coats, but I got a sudden urge to add one more coat and this was the final product. Also added two layers of gloss polyurethane for just a bit more sheen. I think I stood in the handle aisle at Home Depot for about 30 minutes debating about the handles. She had requested a silver finish, and I was debating between these beautiful silver crystal handles and plain silver handles with a design. Loved these crystal ones too much to let them go. They were a bit pricey, but add just the right about of shab to this chicy little cabinet.
